London calling Speak Up!
The BHF Head Office was
the location for the Speak Up workshop held in
London on Saturday 7th November. The first
challenge of the day was to negotiate the London Underground and
bus network to get to Greater London House by 10am. Not an
easy task!
After spending the morning doing
activities which will build up their confidence and communication
skills, the young people broke off for lunch at the Pulse
Café.
The afternoon allowed the young people to
focus on communicating with others about their condition and
created some brilliant masks to represent their feelings.
The day ended at Madame
Tussauds where the young people mingled with the
stars.
